Reminder! 01.26.2009 |
NRRC Parents, Please consider this your one and only warning regarding parking in fire lanes at the schools during NRRC basketball games. Parking in a fire lane carries a $100.00 fine when ticketed, and all facilities will be closely monitored. Fire lanes violations are applicable 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year.... not just when school is in session. David Linden NRRC Athletic Director |

NRRC Parents,
Parking along Walrond Dr. near the soccer fields needs to stop. This is a VDOT maintained road which has numerous No Parking signs posted. Parking is available in the parking lot on Enon Dr. as well as near the playground. The county police will be monitoring this area and vehicles parked in the no parking zones will be issued tickets. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions David Linden |

NRRC Parents,
This is just a friendly reminder that the Roanoke County Parks and Recreation policies dictate that using tobacco and/or alcohol products at County Parks and Recreation facilities during rec club events is strictly prohibited. Please refrain from smoking anywhere near NRRC practices or games. If you have any questions regarding this policy please do not hesitate to contact me at 293-1695. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. David Linden |

NRRC has adopted new payment and registration procedures
for all players. All players will still be required to register
online at
www.nrrc.net.
Now when a player is registered he/she will be marked "active"
immediately if they are registered and paid by credit or debit
card. If a player is registered and paid by check, the player
will not be "active" in the database until the payment is
received by the Treasurer. A player will not be placed on a
team until payments are confirmed by the Treasurer. No
exceptions. We have had trouble with players registering and
not paying, this will eliminate this problem and reduce our
expenses, which continue to rise. NRRC operates solely on money collected from sport registrations. When money is not collected from a player for a particular sport we all suffer. While costs continue to rise for equipment, officials, insurance, field use permits, uniforms, etc. we have tried to maintain our player registration fees as much as possible. We are seeing a greater number of players who do not send their money in during the registration period. For this reason, NRRC will no longer issue uniforms to players who show as "unpaid" within the registration database. Players will be issued a uniform once registration fees have been paid for the current sport that he or she has enrolled in to participate. |
